Washington D.C. Decorative Plaster — Pitted JC 1674

Duke Ellington School of the Arts

Inside the school's signature egg dome, Senza's custom Decorative Plaster — Pitted, JC1674, gives the curved wall a texture as expressive as the architecture itself. Finished in an off-white surface with a hand-worked, pitted depth, the plaster catches light differently at every angle of the dome's curve — shifting from soft matte to faint shadow-play across the pocked texture. It transforms an already striking architectural form into something closer to sculpture, a finish that treats the dome not as a surface to cover but as a canvas for the craft.

Woodmont View Condos

Bethesda, Maryland Decorative Plaster — ArmourGlass JC511

At Woodmont View, a Senza decorative plaster finish carries the lobby's walls in warm, hand-troweled strata — a Venetian-inspired surface that trades cold, builder-grade drywall for depth you can read across the room. Layered in soft ivory and stone tones and burnished to a soft luster, the plaster gives the entrance the quiet material confidence residents feel the moment they step in from the street, before the elevator doors even open.

Eaton Hotel & Cafe

Washington, D.C. Decorative Plaster — Koncrete JC 2004

Across the lobby and café walls of Eaton DC, a Senza decorative plaster finish grounds the hotel's socially minded design in something tactile and handmade. Applied in warm terracotta and wine tones with the soft, cloud-like variegation Venetian plaster is known for, the surface reads differently in every light — flat and matte over morning coffee, glowing and mineral-rich by evening. It's a fitting material for a space built around slowness and gathering: nothing about it is mass-produced, and every wall carries the visible hand of the plasterer who worked it.

Turkish Airlines

Dulles Airport, VA Architectural Coating — Perlata JC 1502

Throughout the Turkish Airlines Lounge at Dulles, a Senza architectural coating brings warmth and material calm to a space built for transit. Applied across expansive walls and ceiling planes in a soft, cloud-like variegation, the coating softens the hard geometry of an airport interior — matte, mineral, and quietly luxurious rather than glossy or institutional. Travelers moving between gates step into something that feels considered rather than merely functional, a small architectural pause before the flight.

Washington D.C. Decorative Plaster — Istria JC 1656

The Bible Museum

Inside the Museum of the Bible, Senza decorative plaster lends the exhibition halls a weight and warmth no painted surface could match. Applied across walls in ivory and stone tones, hand-troweled to a soft, marble-like depth, the finish holds light the way old limestone does — quiet, matte, faintly luminous — setting a tone of permanence and reverence appropriate to the artifacts it surrounds. It's plaster doing the work of architecture: making a modern building feel like it has always been there.

The Signature

Reston, VA Decorative Plaster — Koncrete JC 1606

The Signature Town Center, Senza's Koncrete plaster gives interior walls the raw, industrial edge of poured concrete without the weight or wait of the real thing. Hand-applied in muted grey tones with the faint mottling and depth of true concrete, Koncrete brings a loft-like, urban character to walls throughout the property — a cooler, more textured counterpoint to the surrounding architecture, and a finish that feels equally at home against exposed steel, warm wood, or soft furnishings.

3901 N Fairfax

Arlington, VA Acoustic Plaster — White 001

At 3901 N Fairfax, Senza acoustic plaster carries the ceilings in a clean, monolithic field that keeps the interior's sightlines uninterrupted while doing serious acoustic work underneath. Troweled seamless from wall to wall with no visible perforations or tile grid, the finish absorbs sound the way a quieter, calmer building should — allowing the lobby and shared spaces feel considered rather than noisy. The result reads as pure architecture: a smooth, monochrome plane that happens to also be a performance surface.

Leidos

Reston, VA Decorative Plaster — ArmourGlass JC 511

At the Leidos headquarters, Senza pairs ArmourGlass White with Spatulata Purple to give the workplace a sharper, more futuristic edge. ArmourGlass White carries the primary wall planes in a cool, glass-smooth finish — hard-troweled to a reflective clarity that reads more like polished mineral than paint. Spatulata Purple cuts through in accent walls and feature surfaces, its deep, saturated tone giving the interior a technical, forward-leaning presence. Together they define a finish built for a company engineering what comes next.

Chevy Chase, MD Acoustic Plaster — White 001

Chevy Chase Country Club

At Chevy Chase Club, Senza installed acoustic plaster lines the ceilings with a finish that performs as well as it looks. Applied seamless and monolithic across the plane, White 001 delivers a crisp, gallery-white surface while quietly absorbing sound — softening the clatter of a dining room or ballroom without a single visible perforation, panel seam, or acoustic tile in sight. It's the finish that lets a grand room stay grand: bright, clean, and hushed all at once.

672 Flats, its columns in hand-tooled woodgrain plaster against a smooth plaster wall

672 Flats

Arlington, VA Decorative Plaster — Smooth Plaster JC 1394

At 672 Flats, Senza's decorative plaster carries two distinct roles across the interior. The columns are finished in a custom Woodgrain plaster, JC1615 — a hand-tooled, wood-grained texture that brings the warmth and organic linework of timber to a structural surface, without the upkeep or expense of the real material. Behind them, the back wall is finished in a custom Smooth Plaster, JC1394, troweled to a clean, seamless plane that lets the columns' texture read as the room's focal detail rather than compete with it. Together, the two custom finishes give the space a considered material contrast — tactile against smooth, custom-matched to the building's palette throughout.

The Haven, National Harbor

Washington D.C. Decorative Plaster — Striate JC 1569

At The Haven, Senza decorative plaster sets the tone for a residence built around waterfront calm. Walls throughout the lobby and common areas carry a hand-troweled Venetian finish in soft, layered neutrals — warm ivory, sand, and stone — chosen to echo the light off the Potomac rather than compete with it. The texture is deliberately quiet: subtle variegation and a soft luster that shift gently through the day, giving communal spaces a sense of material ease that matches the relaxed, resort-adjacent character of National Harbor itself.

The Cantata

Washington D.C. Decorative Plaster — Perlata Architectural Coatings

At The Cantata, Senza decorative plaster brings a composed, musical sense of rhythm to the building's interiors — layered textures in wine, terracotta, and ivory that shift in tone as light moves across them through the day. Applied by hand across lobby and amenity walls, the finish trades the flatness of paint for real depth: soft variegation, a warm luster, and the kind of tactile richness that signals a residence built with care rather than assembled off a spec sheet. It's a fitting material language for a building named for harmony — quiet, layered, and never static.
